From the Principal…

Hello Bluff Creek Families,

It is hard to imagine that after today we have only 6 school days left! There have been so many end of year festivities that we missed this year, but our BCE staff would like to end the year with some fun!

Thursday, May 28th- BCE staff will participate in a “bus parade” through our attendance area. Since we are spread across 3 communities- the bus route will arrive at specific times in specific neighborhoods between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Exact route information will be sent home out via grade level emails on Tuesday.

Friday, May 29th – Instrument drop off 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Students using district owned instruments need to return their instruments or make arrangements to return their instrument with Mrs. Hillyer.

Friday, May 29th-Virtual Field Day- Check out the PE website and Google classroom for more information.

Monday, June 1st: K-4 Pickup and drop off – At this time grade 2 students will return Journeys materials and all students return any books/materials. Yearbooks will be distributed if available. Pick up and drop off will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday, June 2nd: Grade 5 Pickup in the bus loop and 3-4-5 Family materials pick up on the main driveway. Pick up will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Fifth graders will be greeted by staff and have a special surprise waiting for them.

PTO Opportunities: The PTO has two opportunities for parents; you can still purchase a school yearbook if you have not done so- they are $18 and you can contact our office and let them know you are interested.

Supply packs are back! Students in grades K-4 can purchase a school supply pack online- see the information later in this newsletter. If you order a supply pack it will be delivered to your child’s classroom in time for the first day of school.

Thank you for supporting our school during distance learning. We hope all families will continue to enter attendance and support students as they continue to work through June 2nd.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Warmly,

Joan MacDonald
