Strategic Direction #1: Improving teaching and personalized learning for the development of each learner.

 How will we   measure?  Raise the number of students meeting state   standards in Reading and Math by 2-6   percentage points.
 What are we   doing?

  • Make sure our teaching is aligned to the state standards

  • Review data frequently to ensure all students are growing in their learning  

  • Using data to serve students needs - ensuring they get scaffolding and/or extensions
 What will you   notice?
  • Curriculum followed with fidelity (K-3 BAR, 3-5 Sonday)

  • Students will know what they are learning and celebrate their growth

 

Strategic Direction #2: Fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment

 How will we   measure?  Increase the number of students saying they   have a trusted adult at school and feel safe at   school.
 What are   we doing?

  • Social worker meets with every single student 2x per year

  • Intentional lessons about social and emotional learning during Morning Meeting

  • Clarified expectations for behavior and school climate
 What will   you notice?

  • A greater focus on ROAR behaviors in hallways

  • Regular updates in the parent newsletter about the Morning Meeting theme for the month and how you can support at home 

  • Emotional growth from your learner
