Insurance Coverage For Your Student’s Chromebook
As a courtesy to families, the district provides an optional damage insurance to defray the cost of replacement or repair of district-issued Chromebooks. Without it, families are responsible for the full cost of repairs or replacements. With the insurance plan in place, the first three incidents of repairs or replacements are covered (power adapters are not covered). Effective 5/1/2021, the cost is $20 for coverage from the date of purchase through the summer of 2022 for any district Chromebook your child is using.
