Greetings Bluff Creek Families!
Spring Break has arrived! After a rather unusual school year, our students have earned this spring break! We completed our Reading Iditarod- far exceeding our 62,00 minutes goal. Our March Madness ROARing challenge was a great success and our BCE garden has seeds started in our indoor growing space.
I am hoping the weather here in Minnesota or wherever you are traveling, is amazing! Our building will be open for Club Care, but our office will be closed from March 29th- April 2nd. Please remind your child to bring home their Chromebook and belongings. Fifth graders will be reminded to bring home their musical instruments so they can continue to practice over the break.
Parents of third, fourth and fifth grade students should note the dates of the MCA testing. It is
important that students attend school during testing. We ask that parents have patience if leaving phone messages during the day; teachers will not be answering phones during actual testing sessions.
MCA Testing Dates:
MCA Reading for Grades 3,4, and 5 April 13th, 14th and 15th
MCA Math for Grades 3,4, and 5 April 20th, 21st and 22nd
MCA Science for Grade 5 ONLY- May 4th
When we return from spring break students will receive information about the April 23rd Fun Run. This PTO event is a great way to promote physical activity and raise funds for the PTO!
