Summer Family Support Services
Dear Families:
As the school year comes to a close and the incredible efforts by staff providing educational and social emotional support ends, we would like to take this opportunity to inform you of services that might be helpful as you navigate through the coming months of summer. Carver County School Linked Behavioral Health Service and Relate Counseling Center will continue to offer services over the summer to help you cope any emotional/social and behavioral issues that may be challenging your home life. These services are open to all Carver county residents with school age children and/ or children who attend Eastern Carver County Schools. A trained mental health professional will be available to connect with you, answer questions, and help you navigate what level of service might be helpful for you and your family.
The services provided are through a telehealth platform, which may be a simple phone call or a video/audio meeting, depending on your comfort level and available equipment. In some cases, we may be able to provide in-person meetings if the appropriate, safe setting can be established.
The challenges of staying close to home, social distancing and the closure or limitations of traditional summer programs are challenging for families. Our goal is to provide support to family’s through the upcoming summer months. We are in this together.
